Zuraida calls for thorough investigation into Triso ferry tr

PETALING JAYA: Housing and Local Government Minister Zuraida Kamarauddin calls for a thorough investigation into the incident where nine family members drowned after their vehicle fell from a ferry at Triso in Sarawak on Friday (Jan 1).
Zuraida also offered her condolences to the family of the victims who were in the four-wheel drive (4WD) vehicle.
"I pray all the family members will be patient and strong in facing this test.
"I believe a thorough investigation will be conducted by the relevant authorities to avoid such accidents from happening again and enhance the quality of safety.
"Let us pray for the souls of those involved to rest in peace," she said Saturday (Jan 2).
