Church members are minority in U.S. for first time, Gallup says

WASHINGTON (BP) â Church members are in the minority for the first time in at least eight decades, with just 47 percent identifying with a congregation, Gallup said in a poll released Monday The number was 70 percent in 1999.
A growth in adults with no religious preference and lower rates of church membership among people who do have a religion are major trends driving the decline, Gallup said.
Younger generations hold the highest rates of those with no religious preference, including 31 percent of millennials and 33 percent of adult Generation Z (those born in the mid-1990s to the early 2010s). Concurrently, among those who do affiliate with a religion, declines since the turn of the century were highest among younger generations, with the share of millennials declining from 63 percent in 2000 to 50 percent in 2020. ....

Ather has released its 13th OTA software update for its display. Called Atherstack Atom, it enables Bluetooth-based music and call features on the Ather 450X. It also includes the revamped version of the Ather App for all Ather owners with Android and iOS devices.
This update allows the rider to view and control music and take phone calls through the dashboard. While the music is playing on the smartphone, the dashboard will show album art, the name of the song, and the artist in the display. When the vehicle is stationary, the rider can use the touchscreen to switch to the previous track, play/pause the current track or jump to the next track. ....

Put-call ratio, also known as PCR, is used to gauge the sentiment of options market. A higher proportion of call options to put options indicates a bullish trend ahead and vice versa. This ratio is computed by factoring in trading volumes or open interest at a given period.
Considering the open interest, PCR is calculated by dividing the number of open interest in put option contracts by the number of open interest in call option contracts, at the same strike price (or for entire option chain) and expiry date. For instance, the open interest for Bank Nifty put was 24,028 and the same for call option was 26,111, both expiring on April 1, 2021 and the strike price for both is ₹33,500. The PCR works out to be 0.92 (24,028/26,111). Generally, if PCR is less than 1, it indicates that investors are buying more call options than pu ....
