Two Munson nurses at forefront of COVID-19 vaccination tracking

Munson Army Health Center civilian nurses Ashley Woodruff and Erin Richter have been responsible for administering and charting 80% of the nearly 14,000 COVID-19 vaccinations given so far to service members, their families, and retirees at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas military medical treatment facility.
Munson s motto is constant dedicated care, and Woodruff and Richter embody those qualities.
Woodruff and Richter, both licensed practical nurses, work in the Munson multiservice specialty clinic, where, in addition to the COVID-19 vaccinations, they are responsible for ensuring the military population is medically ready for deployment. They are also responsible for improving, protecting, and promoting immunization health care for service members, military families and retirees who use Munson as their health center or who are changing service locations or going outside the continental United States. ....

FORT KNOX, Ky. Many who know Shirley Johnson see him as a trim man full of vigor and sound advice. Those who knew him prior to 2015 likely don’t recognize him.
That’s because for the past six years, the Fort Knox Army Substance Abuse Program specialist has committed himself to shedding 100+ pounds and keeping it off.
“I started out extremely obese. That was the word that was given to me,” said Johnson. “I went from extremely obese, to obese, to overweight, to fit. I was basically the same person I am today, just bigger.”
One of two ASAP specialists at the installation offices, Johnson spends much of his day encouraging others. His job encompasses three jobs: Risk Reduction Program coordinator; Suicide Prevention Program manager; and when needed, the Prevention coordinator most of which involves him sitting behind a computer screen due to COVID-19 restrictions. ....

Summer is approaching quickly, and that means that hundreds of Soldiers are preparing for a permanent change of station, or PCS, move.
Garrison Command Sgt. Maj. Juan Jimenez said Redstone Arsenal is expecting 50-60 new Soldiers this year, including several that were unable to take new assignments in 2020 due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. These Soldiers will fill positions across the installation, from Fox Army Health Center to the many Army tenant organizations.
The Garrison offers several resources for Soldiers PCSing into the area. First, Jiminez said, each Soldier will receive a sponsor, often the person whose position they will be filling when they arrive. ....

The TNI-AD has prepared as many as 102 health facilities aimed at supporting the COVID-19 vaccination for all army members in each region. Jakarta (ANTARA) - A total of 102 health facilities of the Indonesian Army (TNI-AD) have been readied to facilitate the nationwide implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination program, Army Chief of Staff Andika Perkasa stated.
“The TNI-AD has prepared as many as 102 health facilities aimed at supporting the COVID-19 vaccination for all army members in each region,” Perkasa remarked in the official channel of the TNI-AD here on Friday. ....
