After releasing a P 3.650-million tentative price earlier this month, Volkswagen has released the finalized price for its new premium MPV, the Multivan Kombi. And surprise: it’s now made more affordable. Released just today, the 2021 Multivan Kombi is priced at P 3,595,000 for the monocolor version and P 3,640,000 for the bi-color version. The Philippine-spec Multivan Kombi packs a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. The 330 TDI engine makes 150 horsepower at 3,250 to 3,750 rpm and 340 Nm of torque at 1,500 to 3,000 rpm. This engine is mated to a 7-speed dual clutch automatic with a coasting feature. ....

To celebrate more than a decade of Passat production in the United States, the company has revealed a short-run Limited Edition that pays tribute to the sedan’s history as well as Volkswagen’s presence in the country. “We’ve sold some version of the Passat for nearly 50 years, and the Passat launched our relationship with Chattanooga, which supports thousands of jobs,” said Scott Keogh, president and CEO of Volkswagen Group of America. “With the Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport in high demand, and the North American production launch of the all-electric ID.4 SUVnext year, our future in Chattanooga looks brighter than ever,” he added. ....
