GREENWICH, CT Superintendent of Greenwich Public Schools Dr. Toni Jones has appointed Dr. Benjamin Markus as Interim Coordinator for English Language Arts for K-8, effective July 26, according to a news release from the school district.
Markus will be responsible for designing, developing, and evaluating the English Language Arts program K-8. In addition, he will provide organization and leadership in the adoption and use of instructional materials; plan and conduct professional learning and development for staff members; conduct teacher evaluations; keep all stakeholders informed of program developments and numerous other responsibilities related to curriculum and development.
