2021 Animal Identification Information
Animal ID is a system for identifying and tracking all animals in the 4-H animal science project areas. The deadline for entering animal IDs into 4-H Online is May 17. Please click the corresponding link (horse, dog, or livestock - all species) below for information on requesting tags from the Extension Office and entering identification information.
Identifying animals into 4-H Online DOES NOT register you for the 4-H showcase or fair. But animals do need to be in 4-H Online in order for them to be shown at the showcase/fair.
More information regarding animal identification, including species requirements, can be found at https://extension.umn.edu/projects-and-more/4-h-animal-id.
