Vulture thought extinct from Israel for 30 years spotted twice in a month

Last month, the chief scientist of the Israel Nature and Parks Authority witnessed the appearance in Israel of a species recorded as extinct, for the second time in his career.
The first time was in 2011 when the Hula painted frog, endemic to the Hula marshes of northern Israel, was rediscovered. It was thought to be extinct in the wild as a result of habitat destruction during the 1950s. ....

The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is home to a new baby orangutan, and you can help pick a name for him.
The baby was both on April 28 to mom,
Kera Wak, the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo announced in a press release on Tuesday (May 25). The infant and his mother have joined others

Merah in their habitat in The RainForest where guests can find them.
The birth marks the first orangutan successfully born at the zoo since 2014, and the fifth since The RainForest opened in 1992, according to the release.

Adorable rare female black jaguar cub is born at a big cat sanctuary in Kent


A rare female black jaguar cub has been born at The Big Cat Sanctuary in Kent.
The adorable cub, which is being referred to as Baby until she is officially named, was born on April 6 to proud parents Keira and Neron.
Her birth is part of the European Endangered Species Breeding Programme, and is an important breakthrough for jaguars, which are classed as near threatened in the wild.
