Mobile COVID-19 vaccine clinic coming to neighborhoods, festivals near you
Two grants will help the Tippecanoe County Health Department maintain operations at its COVID-19 vaccine clinic, as well as move into the next phase of the local vaccination effort.

TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) Two grants will help the Tippecanoe County Health Department maintain operations at its COVID-19 vaccine clinic, as well as move into the next phase of the local vaccination effort.
The health department recently received more than $400,000 in grant money from the Indiana State Department of Health.
Some of the money will used to maintain operations at the county s vaccine clinic, but even more will be spent to send a mobile unit to neighborhoods and festivals like the county fair.

LAFAYETTE, Ind. Only seven new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Tippecanoe County Thursday, according to the Indiana State Department of Health, with no new deaths.
The death toll from the pandemic remained at 219 for another day. To date, the county has reported 22,419 positive cases of the virus since the pandemic started in March 2020.
Just over 114,000 114,4`9 COVID-19 tests have been conducted in the county since spring 2020; 142 tests were conducted Wednesday.

LAFAYETTE, Ind. On Tuesday, the Indiana State Department of Health reported more than 70,000 people in Tippecanoe County have become fully vaccinated, with more than 82,000 people getting at least one shot.
Also Tuesday, the ISDH reported only six new positive cases, bringing the county s total to 22,402 since the pandemic started. No new deaths were reported, holding the death toll to COVID-19 in Tippecanoe County to 219.

The seven-day overall positivity rate ticked up slightly to 4.4%, up from 4.3% Monday; the rate for unique individuals remained at 8.7%; Friday s rate was 10.1%.
