Police: Norwalk man charged in Roodner Court drug investigation

NORWALK A city man has been arrested in connection with an investigation into “narcotics trafficking” at the Roodner Court housing complex, police said.
Rasheen Thompson, 27, was charged Friday with possession of narcotics with intent to sell, sale/possession of marijuana with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia close to a school, among other offenses, according to a news release from police. Bond was set at $250,000.
Police said investigators found about $8,000, over 100 fentanyl pills, just over 10 “grams of suspected crack cocaine,” just over 27 “grams of powder cocaine,” 79 pills of ecstasy and more while conducting the search, according to the release. ....

DANBURY With COVID-19 rates declining, Danbury Hospital is allowing family members to visit their loved ones beginning Tuesday.
“We just can t wait to be more fully open for our patients and our families,” said Andrea Rynn, spokeswoman for Nuvance Health, the seven-hospital system that includes Danbury Hospital. “We recognize it’s been hard on them.” ....
