There s a three-way race for two seats on the Board of Selectmen this year, the only contest on the ballot.
Incumbent Maria Neyland, Jennifer Thomas Campbell and Diana Lipari are all hoping to capture one of two available three-year seats on the town s executive board.
Bob Stemple opted not to run for re-election.
The election is Tuesday, May 18 at Town Hall. Polls open at 7 a.m., closing at 8 p.m.
According to an email from Town Clerk Elizabeth Markiewicz, there will not be in-person early voting this year, but voters are urged to request a mail-in ballot.

April 28 is the final day to register to vote to be eligible to vote at both the May 18 annual town election and the June 12 annual Town Meeting.
In-person voter registration will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at Boxborough Town Hall, 29 Middle Road. Registration will continue from noon to 8 p.m. at the Boxborough Police Station, 520 Massachusetts Ave.
To register by mail, download the voter registration form, which can be found on the town’s website at http://boxborough-ma.gov. The form must be completed, signed and sent to the Boxborough Town Clerk, 29 Middle Road, Boxborough, MA 01719. Voter registration forms submitted by mail must be postmarked no later than midnight April 28.

Boxborough will hold its annual town election on May 18. Nomination papers are available for elected town offices at the Town Clerk’s Office, Boxborough Town Hall, 29 Middle Road.
Candidates must come in person to take out papers and, due to the ongoing COVID-19 emergency, should make an appointment with the clerk beforehand.
Completed nomination papers must be filed with the board of registrars/town clerk by 5 p.m. March 30. Twenty-eight certified signatures from voters registered in Boxborough are required in order to be placed on the ballot.
