DORCHESTER COUNTY, MD A Baltimore man has been charged with driving under the influence and other offenses after police said he stole an ambulance on the Eastern Shore. No patients or passengers were in the ambulance at the time, according to authorities.
Augustus Redditt, 52, has been charged with multiple offenses, including unlawful taking of a motor vehicle; intentional false alarm; malicious destruction of property greater than $1,000; and theft greater than $100,000, court records show. Police said he was also charged with driving under the influence, drug possession and traffic offenses. ....
