JAMUL, Calif. U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) agents arrested a man on Wednesday who arrived at the State Route (SR) 94 checkpoint with a loaded revolver.
Agents seized this gun that was being carried by an inadmissible alien.
Wednesday, agents assigned to the SR-94 checkpoint were conducting checkpoint operations when a white Nissan Altima approached the primary inspection area.
During this immigration inspection, a search was conducted on the passenger which resulted in the discovery of a loaded 22-caliber handgun in one of the man’s pockets. ....

EDINBURG, Texas – Rio Grande Valley Sector (RGV) Border Patrol agents respond to two locations and arrest a total of 166 illegal aliens.
Yesterday morning, RGV Sector agents received information of a possible stash house located in Edinburg, Texas. Border Patrol requested the assistance of the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office in the investigation. As authorities arrived at the suspected stash house, they observed several subjects attempting to flee the residence.
Upon entry, they discovered 36 illegal aliens confined to a small area. Further investigation revealed two individuals had flu like symptoms and another person claimed to suffer from epilepsy. All subjects were medically evaluated on scene. ....

HIROSHIMA: A recent study led by food scientist Thanutchaporn Kumrungsee can be the first step in showing vitamin B6 s potential in lowering the odds of patients becoming seriously ill with the coronavirus.
The study paper published in the journal Frontiers in Nutrition found that vitamin B6 may help calm cytokine storms and unclog blood clots linked to Covid-19 s lethality. But the research on it is lacking.
Studies have so far explored the benefits of vitamins D and C and minerals like zinc and magnesium in fortifying immune response against Covid-19. But research on vitamin B6 has been mostly missing. ....
