PM Modi to interact with Varanasi doctors, paramedical staff on Friday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with doctors, paramedical staff and other frontline health workers of Varanasi on Friday via video conferencing.
His office said Modi will review the working of various COVID hospitals in Varanasi, including the Pandit Rajan Mishra Covid Hospital, which was recently started through the joint efforts of the DRDO and the Indian Army.
He will also review the working of non-Covid hospitals in the district.
Modi will also discuss the ongoing efforts for tackling the second wave of COVID-19 in Varanasi and preparations for the future, the Prime Minister s Office said.

The Deep Depression (remnant of the Extremely Severe Cyclonic Storm Tauktae ) over Gujarat region moved north-eastwards with a speed of about 07 kmph during past 06 hours, weakened into a Depression and lay centred at 0530 hours IST of today, the 19th May, 2021 near latitude 24.3N and longitude 73.3E over south Rajasthan and adjoining Gujarat region, about 60 kms west-southwest of Udaipur (Rajasthan) and 110 km east-northeast of Deesa (Gujarat region).It is very likely to move north-eastwards and weaken gradually into a Well-Marked Low pressure area during next 12 hours. Chhattisgarh board declares class 10 results on internal evaluation

The Chhattisgarh Board of
Secondary Education (CGBSE) on Wednesday declared the class 10 examination results based on the internal assessment of the students as no final test was held amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
The overall pass percentage is 100 per cent as all the 4,61,093 eligible students are declared to have passed the exam, officials said.
The students who are not satisfied with the allotted marks will be allowed to sit for the exam next year, a senior official said.
The results of the CGBSEHigh School Certificate Examination (class 10) were declared by state School Education Minister Premsai Singh Tekam through video conferencing.
A total of 4,67,261 students had registered for the class 10 exam. Of them, forms of 6,168 students were rejected for not fulfiling the criteria. The remaining 4,61,093 eligible students, including 2,24,112 boys and 2,31,999 girls, have passed the exam, said VK Goyal, Secretary, CGBSE. ....

Kolte-Patil rises after signing two new projects in Pune

Kolte-Patil Developers rose 2.31% to Rs 230.45 after the real estate developer announced the signing of two new projects in Pune under the development management model.The two projects have a combined saleable area of about 1.3 million square feet (msf). The company expects development management (DM) fees of approximately Rs 80 crore.
As the development manager, Kolte-Patil will lend its brand to these projects and jointly collaborate with the land owners to oversee product design, sales and marketing, project quality and cash flow management leading to time-bound handover to buyers. The project costs would continue to be borne by the respective projects.
The First project located at Hinjewadi has a plot area of 8.4 acres and a saleable area of 0.75 million square feet. The project is for residential use. The second project is located at Tathawade. Portals of Kedarnath open in Uttarakhand; first puja held on behalf on PM

The portals of Kedarnath opened on Monday after a six-month winter break with the first puja being held by priests on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, officials said.
