A week prior on Feb. 5, deputies received reports of a suspect cutting a catalytic converter off of a vehicle near Atwood Boulevard and Lyons Avenue in Newhall. Shortly after the report was filed, deputies spotted a vehicle matching the description of the wanted suspect near the Old Road and Valencia Boulevard. Deputies arrested four individuals who had the stolen catalytic converter as well as narcotics and a saw commonly used to cut the catalytic converters.
