Natco Pharma rises after USFDA nod for cancer treatment drug

Natco Pharma jumped 6.2% to Rs 884.35 after the company received final approval for everolimus tablets in the US market.Natco Pharma announced that its marketing partner, Breckenridge Pharmaceutical Inc. (BPI), has received final approval for its abbreviated new drug application (ANDA) for everolimus tablets (a generic version of Afinitor) from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA). BPI plans to launch 2.5 mg, 5 mg and 7.5 mg strengths of the product shortly within the next few weeks. The launch of 10mg strength of the product is subject to confidential terms of a settlement and license agreement entered into with the owner of the Afinitor brand. The launch date of 10mg strength of the product will be announced at a later date.

Natco Pharma receives registration approval for Chlorantraniliprole (CTPR)

NATCO would be the first indigenous manufacturer of this technical product. CTPR technical is formulated into broad-spectrum insecticides used in several crops for better pest management. NATCO hopes to bri ng products based on CTPR shortly that would be affordable and accessible to farmers across India. CTPR is an active ingredient used in products commercialized by FMC under brands Coragen & Ferterra. Th e sales generated from CTPR containing products in India, inclusive of third-party marketing companies, as per declaration given by FMC was estimated to be Rs 1540 crores in 2016. Natco Pharma gains after regulatory approval for CTPR

Natco Pharma rose 2.30% to Rs 920.45 after the company said it received approval for chlorantraniliprole (CTPR)-1st key product of crop health sciences division. In a BSE filing made during market hours today, the company announced the approval of registration by the Central Insecticide Board & Registration Committee (CIB&RC) for indigenous manufacture of chlorantraniliprole (CTPR) Technical. NATCO would be the 1st indigenous manufacturer of this technical product, the company said in the filing. CTPR technical is formulated into broad-spectrum insecticides used in several crops for better pest management. The active ingredient is used across products commercialised by FMC under its brands Coragen and Ferterra.
