DepEd appeals hike in elections honoraria for teachers

(File photo) MANILA - The Department of Education (DepEd) is appealing for an increase in the honoraria of teachers who will serve as poll workers in the May 2022 elections. In a news release issued Friday, Secretary Leonor Briones said the department would coordinate with the Commission on Elections (Comelec) for the request.
