CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY - The Department of Labor and Employment - Northern Mindanao (DOLE-10) on Friday said workers in areas affected by the Alert Level 3 or higher that was set by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) can avail of cash assistance. During an online media forum, DOLE-10 Director Alber Gutib said this is a one-time cash assistance of PHP5,000 under the agency's Covid-19 Adjustment Measures Program (CAMP) 3. Law providing 1% preferential tax relief to private schools inked

MANILA - President Rodrigo Duterte has signed a law reducing the preferential tax rate of 10 percent to 1 percent imposed on proprietary educational institutions. Duterte signed Republic Act (RA) 11635 on Dec. 10, 2021, amending Section 27 (B) of the National Internal Revenue Code of 1997. DAVAO CITY - The Department of Health - Davao Region (DOH-11) has not detected the Omicron (B.1.1.529) variant here as the city continues to record a low number of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases, the Davao City Covid-19 Task Force said Thursday.
