REGIONAL WEATHER DISCUSSION
Apr 6, 2021 4:13 AM
(OLNEY/NEWTON) It will be our warmest day of the week today, and maybe the warmest day of the year so far, as a departing high pressure ridge continues to pump in a very strong southwesterly wind flow with the warmer-than-normal springtime air moving up from the southwest U.S. However, an approaching cold front will give us our next rain chance by late tomorrow afternoon, that’s after a mostly dry day on Wednesday. The rain chances improve tomorrow night with maybe a few thunderstorms included, although it all ends overnight. We’ll dry out and cool down a bit on Thursday and Friday before another rain chance moves in for Saturday. Stay tuned for updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more weather information and forecast details.
