whiteout conditions on the roads. good morning to you. welcome to way too early. after a historic 18-month investigation, the house select committee investigating january 6th has unveiled its full report on the deadly capitol is tack and former president trump s efforts to overturn the 2020 election. at more than 00 pages, the report is broken down into eight chapters that provide details from more than 1,000 witnesses interviews and hundreds of thousands of pages of text messages, emails and other documents. chapter 1 is titled, quote, the big lie, a reference to trump s widespread effort to push false claims about the 2020 election being stolen. the chapter notes that trump made efforts even before election day to delegitimize the election process by suggesting it would be marred by ballot fraud. chapter 2 is titled i just want to find 11,780 votes and focuses on trump s attempt to pressure state and local election officials to overturn the 2020 election results. the
everything but what are your maintainingaways, and really what stood out to you the most? yeah, i mean you kind of ran through a lot of the biggest headlines here but one of the things that i think really stuck out to me is the fact that they really lay out in great detail the effort by trump and his inner circle between november and january to delegitimize and put pressure on local officials, trump and his inner circle report did more than 200 apparent acts to try to pressure state and local officials that we have heard that they have done this. we ve heard instances of it, of course, certainly testimony around it. but just kind of that number alone is pretty stunning in terms of just the breadth and the length that he and his allies were going to try to delegitimize the overall certification process. i think also just the fact that he did 18 calls, 18 to brad raffensperger in georgia before that kind of infamous 11,078
The 2021 NFL draft was held April 29 through May 1 and every Buffalo Bills draft pick has been analyzed here.
After last season s virtual draft, Cleveland played host to festivities this year with a handful of potential draft picks present and socially distanced because of COVID-19.
Here s a pick-by-pick look at how each player Buffalo has selected will fit.
Round 1, No. 30 overall: Gregory Rousseau, DE, Miami
My take: Selecting Rousseau made perfect sense considering how the board played out. Buffalo has an impending need at defensive end and wouldn t be able to get one with Rousseau s ceiling if it waited any longer. He is still learning the position but should be able to contribute as both a defensive end and interior pass-rusher. Next to 2019 first-round pick Ed Oliver, he could provide the type of pressure Buffalo often lacked last season.
