46K Covid-19 recoveries recorded in Zamboanga Peninsula
ZAMBOANGA CITY - Zamboanga Peninsula (Region 9) has so far recorded 46,000 recoveries from the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), or a 93.34-percent recovery rate since the start of the pandemic last year. In a report Friday, the Department of Health-9 said the region has tallied a total of 49,277 cumulative cases of Covid-19 since the start of the pandemic in March 2020 with 1,056 active cases and 2,221 deaths.
