where a jury convicted dharun ravi. ravi, a former rutgers university student used a web cam to spy on his gay roommate while he was with a man. he then tweeted about what he saw. days later, he killed himself. he was just 18 years old. ravi now faces up to ten years in prison. keeping them honest, at the time of his arrest, there was no law on the books making cyberbullying a crime. it wasn't until a month after his suicide that new jersey passed the law. prosecutors were able to convict him under a bias intimidation law instead. only 11 states currently have laws on the books crimi...
