$4 Million Approved for Local Vegetation Management
June 4, 2021 Sonoma County has approved grant funding for vegetation management projects. The Board of Supervisors approved nearly $4 million in grants to fund 20 projects that aim to reduce wildfire risk. The funding will come from the PG&E settlement that was given to the county from the 2017 Sonoma Complex Fires lawsuit. Officials selected the 20 projects out of nearly 90 applicants. Quick Links
