The airport's launched a 12 week consulation for the public to have their say on the proposals. the airport wants to increase passenger numbers to 75 million per year by 2038. amanda akass is at gatwick airport for us now. it might seem fairly optimistic given the impact the pandemic has hired on the aviation industry but gatwick say they're confident the passenger bus will get back up to pre—pandemic levels by 2025 or 2026 and will continue to grove. at this point goes ahead, it could be up and running by 2029, adding an ex 100,000 flights per year, up from 285,000 before the pandemic. gatw...
