Installed capacity to generate 37,261MW electricity June 11, 2021 ISLAMABAD: The country’s installed capacity to generate electricity has increased to 37,261 MWs in July-April 2021 from 35,972 in the same period 2020-2021, showing a growth of 3.6 percent. According to the Economic Survey 2020-21, the hydro generation has increased its share in energy mix by 26 percent to 9,874 MWs in July-April 2021 as against the hydel in the same period of last year.
