Zambo City to hire more personnel for Covid-19 response

Zamboanga City Hall(PNA file photo) ZAMBOANGA CITY - The city government is hiring an additional 165 personnel to fill in the vacancies for its coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) response program. Mayor Maria Isabelle Climaco-Salazar said Wednesday the hiring of workers forms part of the city government's effort to help public and private hospitals that are overburdened by the surge in Covid-19 cases in the city. Salazar said the city is in urgent need of 12 medical officers, 46 nurses, 13 medical technologists, and 94 job order workers for a total of 165 personnel. "Additional perso...
