Daily average Covid cases lower by 29% compared to previous week

(File photo) MANILA - The Department of Health (DOH) on Monday reported that the daily average Covid-19 cases of 272 from March 28 to April 3 is 29 percent lower than the new infections prior to the week in review. In its latest case bulletin, the DOH said there are 1,906 new cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) in the recent week. For the same period, there were no cases added to the tally of severe and critical infections which stood at 707.
