Figuring out a strain's genetics based on its name is usually easy if you grew up playing that Pokémon Gameboy game, because Pokémon always kept a name similar in sound or meaning after evolving. Pichu evolves into Pikachu, which becomes Raichu (but let's face it: No one wanted a Raichu), and so on. Cannabis is sort of same-same, but different.
