PH logs 3,656 new cases, lowest in over 3 months

MANILA - The Department of Health (DOH) on Wednesday reported 3,656 new Covid-19 cases, the country's lowest daily tally in over three months. The new infections brought the total number of active cases nationwide to 67,061, according to the DOH latest case bulletin. About 77.9 percent of these active cases are mild, 6.8 percent are asymptomatic, 2 percent are critical, 4.6 percent are severe, and 8.69 percent are moderate. 9K new Covid-19 recoveries; active infections down to over 63K

MANILA - An additional 9,609 patients have beaten the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), pushing the country's overall recovery count to 2,627,126 as of Tuesday. The Department of Health (DOH), in its latest Covid-19 bulletin, said recoveries account for 96.2 percent of the total 2,731,735 infections since the start of the pandemic last year. It also logged 4,496 new cases -- the lowest in nearly three months since July 28, when the country logged 4,478 new infections. The active case count is currently at 63,637.
