PH daily average Covid-19 cases down to 239 in recent week

MANILA - The Department of Health (DOH) on Monday reported that the daily average Covid-19 cases of 239 from April 4 to 10 is 12 percent lower than the new infections prior to the week in review. In its latest case bulletin, the DOH said there are 1,674 new cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) in the recent week. For the same period, there was only one case added to the tally of severe and critical infections which went down to 664. Only 16.9 percent or 4,164 out of the 24,645 intensive care unit (ICU) beds in the country are used while 15.8 percent or 450 of 2,842 non-ICU beds are...

PH new Covid-19 cases fall below 3K for 2nd straight day

(Infographic courtesy of DOH) MANILA - The number of daily coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases this year dropped to another record low, with only 2,010 new infections reported on Tuesday. This is the second straight day the country has recorded less than 3,000 fresh infections, after Monday's 2,730 infections. Active cases also dropped to 72,305 from Monday's 76,609.
