DOH reports 5,434 new Covid-19 cases, 611 add'l recoveries

(File photo) MANILA - The Department of Health (DOH) on Tuesday reported 611 new recoveries and 5,434 additional cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19). Recoveries are now at 2,779,706 or 97.2 percent of the total 2,861,119 infections since the pandemic started in March 2020. Active cases climbed to 29,809 of which 24,026 are mild, 3,020 are moderate, 889 are asymptomatic, 328 are critical, and 1,546 are severe.
