Maryland is working to get counselors on staff at 911 centers to help the "first first-responders," for whom the burnout rate is so high.
When an Anne Arundel County mother's child was in distress, she called 911. Most times, the call is answered. But not this time.
The couple tracked down the dispatcher on Facebook so they could thank him and introduce their little girl to the man who saved her on the first day of her life.
She stayed on the phone with the man for 90 minutes while helping rescuers to find him.
Shout out to all of the 911 dispatchers!!
