A Bloomington school board candidate says he’s ending his campaign after parents complained about his social media posts. The Bloomington Pantagraph reports Jon Reed had posted remarks disparaging of minorities, and had shared memes that were seen as sexist. It is AmeriCorps week, and even with the challenges of the pandemic they are helping any way they can, from assisting youth at one of their partner sites such as The Goodwill Office on Outer Park to their food drives.
