For years we have had the promise of more services in the community built around people with autism and learning disabilities, tailored to their needs, but it is not happening on the needed scale. in molly's area they say they are building new services but one of the issues the whole of the nhs and the care system has is staffing, it is difficult to find enough staff. on a more positive note, i spoke to molly a couple of days ago, she has been out with herfamily, she is enjoying much, but she wants a plan to support her in the future. many thanks, alison. _ details of organisations offering in...
