RP เตรียมสร้างท่าเทียบเรือเกาะพะลวยแล้วเสร็จปลายปี

นายอภิชาติ ชโยภาส กรรมการผู้จัดการ บมจ. ท่าเรือราชาเฟอร์รี่ (RP) เปิดเผยว่า ที่ประชุมคณะกรรมการบริษัท (บอร์ด) มีมติเห็นชอบอนุมัติการก่อสร้างโครงการท่าเทียบเรือเฟอร์รี่เกาะพะลวย โดยว่าจ้างบริษัท เดอะซีบอร์ด ดี แอนด์ ซี จำกัด เป็นผู้รับเหมาดำเนินการก่อสร้างท่าเทียบเรือเกาะพะลวย จำนวน 2 ท่าเทียบ จะเริ่มเดินหน้าก่อสร้างได้ช่วงไตรมาส 4 ปีนี้ และคาดว่าจะแล้วเสร็จปลายปี 65
"เชื่อว่าการก่อสร้างท่าเรือเกาะพะลวยจะเป็นการเพิ่มขีดความสามารถการแข่งขันให้กับบริษัท เนื่องจากเกาะพะลวยเป็นหมู่เกาะที่อยู่ใกล้อุทยานแห่งชาติหมู่เกาะอ่างทอง ซึ่งเป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวที่เป็นที่รู้จักดี ปกติจะมีนักท่องเที่ยวเดินทางเข้ามาปีละไม่ต่ำกว่า 5-6 แสนคน และเกาะพะลวยยังเป็นเกาะพลังงานต้นแบบที่สามารถต่อยอดไปธุรกิจอื่นๆ ได้ มีลักษณะคล้ายกับเกาะพะงันเมื่อก่อน" นายอภิชาติ กล่าว
สำหรับโครงการก่อสร้างท่าเรือเกาะพะลวยขนาดไม่เกิน 500 ตันกรอส 2 ท่าเทียบ ได้ทำการเปิดยื่นซองประมูลไปก่อนหน้านี้ และล่าสุดบอร์ดบริษัทได้อนุมัติว่าจ้างให้บริษัท เดอะซีบอร์ด ดี แอนด์ ซี จำกัด เป็นผู้รับเหมาในการดำเนินการก่อสร้าง คาดใช้เวลาในการก่อสร้างประมาณ 14 เดือน หรือจะแล้วเสร็จช่วงปลายปี 65
ขณะเดียวกัน ฝ่ายบริหารแจ้งในที่ประชุมว่า บริษัทกำลังศึกษาเรื่องของการทำสินทรัพย์ดิจิทัล (Digital Asset) ในรูปของการรับชำระค่าบริการเป็นเงินสกุลดิจิทัล (Crypto Currency) และ Token Utility แบบพร้อมใช้ เพื่อรองรับกระแสสังคมไร้เงินสด และยังเป็นการขยายฐานลูกค้าใหม่ๆ อีกทั้งยังเป็นเพิ่มขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันในอนาคตอันใกล้
นายอภิชาติ กล่าวว่า การลงทุนก่อสร้างท่าเรือเกาะพะลวยเพิ่ม หลังจากสร้างท่าเทียบเรือ 2 ท่า ที่ท่าเรือดอนสัก (ท่า 4-5) ในภาวะที่ธุรกิจมีความท้าทายจากความไม่แน่นอนของปัจจัยต่างๆ เป็นการตัดสินใจที่ถูกทาง เพราะนำมาซึ่งการเพิ่มศักยภาพและขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของธุรกิจในอนาคต นอกจากนี้ ยังได้พิจารณาอย่างรอบคอบ รอบด้านและรัดกุม ภายใต้ความเสี่ยงที่นำมาพิจารณาอย่างเข้มงวดแล้ว
