   The Franklin County Sheriff and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation are looking into a shooting after a man was found dead Dec. 14 near Dows.    Sheriff Aaron Dodd said his office received a call around 4:30 p.m. reporting that a man had been shot. Officers found the body of a man inside a rural home. The body was taken to the Iowa Office of the State Medical Examiner in Ankeny for an autopsy.    Dodd said it did not appear to be a self-inflicted wound. Further details were not immediately released.
