An Horry County man who survived a three-story fall through an open elevator shaft in 2020 filed a lawsuit this month against the homebuilding company that was in charge of the property, according to court records. Aaron Esham was installing insulation at a home construction site along Serenity Point in North Myrtle Beach on Oct. 15, 2020, when he walked through a third-floor door.
