Sex assault, kidnapping jury trial aborted in New Plymouth
A sexual abuse and kidnapping trial has been aborted in New Plymouth District Court. (file photo) An email from a court officer on Wednesday morning advised that the trial of Aaron Lee Wallace had been aborted and the jury dismissed. No reason was given. Wallace had been facing charges of injuring with intent to injure, unlawful sexual connection, threatening to do grievous bodily harm, kidnapping, and three counts of male assaults female, all of which he had denied.
