During the seasonal weight restrictions, the “Maximum Axle Load” is reduced by 35% per axle MCL 257.722(5). For commercial vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Rating of 10,000 pounds or more MCL 257.627(6), travel speed is reduced to 35mph.
