Police said the body had injuries inflicted by a sharp-edged weapon and a rope mark around neck. After the area residents identified the body as that of Feroz, police apprised his brother-in-law Abdul Halal, who lives near Dhuri Line, of the incident. Police said, “Investigation suggests that Feroz, who was a drunkard, had left his rented accommodation at 9.30pm on Wednesday. Later, his body was found.
