Suzhou China based label converter Suzhou Advance Printing has achieved Carbon Neutral status with AWP-DEW and AWP-CleanFlat CleanPrint plates from Asahi Photoproducts. Founded in 2001, the company has now expanded to four locations - Suzhou (headquarter), Guangzhou, Tianjin and Urumqi.
Label-Form has reiterated its trust in Durst, a top manufacturer of advanced digital printing and production technologies, through another investment in its Tau platform. The first commercial job conducted on its new Tau 330 RSC E single-pass inkjet 5-color press (CMYK and white) with a chiller unit catered to a new client, Henley Distillery, a local drinks producer in need of labels. These would have been impossible to produce without the new machine, which has introduced new markets to the company.
British Manufacturer Edale, printing and converting machine manufacturer for the packaging industry, has appointed Luke Harris as UK sales manager. Harris, previously from Fujifilm, will be visiting UK customers and join forces with office-based business development manager, Louise Bailey, to support Edale’s growing presence in the UK market.
