The Delhi Police on Tuesday while seeking an extension of police custody of accused Aaftab Poonawalla in the Shraddha Walkar murder case, informed the court that a rough site plan has been found at the house of the accused which may assist in the search operation.
Aaftab Amin Poonawala has not yet confessed to killing his live-in-partner Shraddha Walkar in the court of law, his lawyer said on Tuesday.
The Delhi Police informed the court on Tuesday, while requesting an extension of police custody for accused Aaftab Poonawalla in the Shraddha Walkar murder case, that a rough site plan had been discovered at the accused's home, which may aid in the search effort.
This contrasts police's assertion that Poonawala has confessed to killing Walkar and dumping her body parts at different locations across Delhi.
The police are also yet to find the murder weapon, which might not be there at all, since Aaftab claims she strangled Shraddha in “fit of rage”.
