As shown in a great new book which i recommend for viewers, impeachment can be for things not illegal, like if the president went to mar-a-lago and golfed for a year and didn't do his job, or for things that are illegal, like jaywalking. so if the president in this case tried to shut down an investigation because he was embarrassed by it, but had the effect of making it impossible to figure out whether his campaign colluded with russia, for example, the house might well judge that was a high crime, misdemeanor, or not, depending on the politics. >> jeffrey, that's perhaps a dangerous precedent...
