In a significant development, a senior Shiv Sena leader urged the Supreme Court to order a probe by a sitting judge of the apex court into the affairs of Narcotics Control Bureau and violation of fundamental rights of Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan.
"There is only one agenda of this government, which is extortion," the former Maharashtra Chief Minister alleged.
Along with Aryan Khan, five other men arrested in the case too were sent to the Arthur Road jail, while two women accused including Munmun Dhamecha were sent to Byculla women's prison, a police official said.
As Aryan Khan remains in custody for carrying no drugs on him, but on grounds of suspicion, lower courts will keep pandering to pressures of higher up's till justice is not served by the higher courts of justice, let's hope by the time Aryan Khan is released he's not a broken man.
