Barambu, a student of Economics and Development Studies of the Federal University, Dutse, Jigawa State, was on Saturday declared the NANS President.

Gombe State University (GSU) has pulled out of the ongoing six-month-old strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).   ASUU embarked on strike on February 14th this year over the Nigerian government's failure to meet its demands.
