Mumbai: Volkswagen Passenger Cars India announces the expansion of its coveted Performance Line on the Virtus with a new variant introduction – Virtus GT DSG. Priced at INR 16,19,900 (ex-showroom), the Virtus GT DSG variant makes the sought-after GT badge further accessible for prospective customers.
In this variant, the sedan is powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine, which churns out 148 bhp power and 250 Nm torque.
Skoda's flagship 1.5L TSI unit was earlier reserved to just top-of-the-line variants of both Kushaq SUV and Slavia Sedan.
Skoda Auto India has announced the introduction of the 1.5L TSI engine to the Ambition trim of the Slavia and Kushaq. Both these cars are based on the India specific MQB A0 IN platform. The company has also updated the cars to meet the Stage 2 BS6 (RDE) norms and has made the cars E20 compliant.
