Officials arrested a 17-year-old boy for Mapula's murder on Friday.

A 17-year-old boy is expected to appear in the Ventersdorp Children's Court on Monday in connection with the alleged murder of 27-year-old Mapula Khune.

The 27 year old was reportedly burnt beyond recognition in a house fire in Ventersdorp in the early hours of Thursday morning.

The 27-year-old Mapula Khune died in a fire on Thursday morning, and police say at this stage no foul play is suspected.
