Governor Adeleke said the setting up of the action committee was in line with the decisions reached between the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and the state government to combat sexual violence through mobile courts and other measures.
The ministry was represented by the Minister of Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, and other top management staff of the Ministry.
This was disclosed by the state Commissioner for Federal Affairs, Mrs. Adenike Adeleke, who represented the governor at the celebration of International Day of Persons Living With Disabilities held in Abuja.
