Eleven victims of human trafficking have been transported to Libya and have been rescued by the Nigeria Immigration Service, (NIS).
The Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) hands over 11 repatriated victims of human trafficking to NAPTIP in Sokoto.
The 11 victims who were all women, were apprehended in the Niger Republic on their way to Libya.
The Service’s Public Relations Officer (SPRO), Controller of Corrections (CC), Tony Akuneme said this in a statement Sunday in Abuja.
