Two-hour block on one arm of Mumbai-Pune Expressway to remove boulders, mud in wake of landslide
A landslide occurred on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway near Kamshet tunnel at around 8 pm on Thursday. After all the debris was cleared, one lane was still kept shut as soil is still falling, and a team is set to carry out an inspection. Three lanes towards Mumbai were closed for two hours in the afternoon to remove stones and boulders that had rolled down the hills, with traffic diverted to the old Mumbai-Pune highway during this period.
