Sixth-graders go to middle school
Despite objections by some residents at last Tuesday’s Simi Valley Unified School District board meeting, trustees approved a plan to move all sixth-grade classes to middle school campuses in the 2024-25 academic year. The vote was 3-1, with trustee Kareem Jubran dissenting and trustee Bob LaBelle absent from the meeting. District Superintendent Hani Youssef
